Clearway Environmental is a small environmental consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington. We provide environmental compliance services and solutions for natural resources, transportation, and development projects. We strive to foster beneficial relationships between clients, design teams, resource agencies, local jurisdictions, and construction personnel.

Environmental Compliance Specialist: This opportunity may be either part-time or full-time. Previous environmental consulting experience is preferred. Experience obtaining local, state, and federal environmental permits and approvals is required. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of focused environmental permitting experience for projects within the Puget Sound region and Washington state. A four-year degree in environmental sciences, biology, natural resources, or related field is required. Most work may be performed remotely; however, the employee should be able to report for work in offices or at field locations throughout the Puget Sound region.
Environmental Scientist – Field Work: This opportunity is for seasonal work. A four-year degree in environmental sciences, biology, natural resources, engineering, or related field is required. Work will include supporting field work operations such as sediment sampling, biological sampling, stream and wetland delineations, fish exclusion/handling, and construction compliance monitoring. Field work will be focused in the greater Seattle area, including King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.
AutoCAD Operator: This opportunity will be for part-time work. Experience providing AutoCAD services for environmental consulting and/or civil engineering projects is required. Typical projects will include critical areas impacts, mitigation/restoration plans, replanting plans, and fish passage and stream habitat enhancement. A four-year degree in environmental sciences, biology, natural resources, engineering, or related field is preferred. AutoCAD training certification is highly desired. Most work may be performed remotely; however, the employee should be able to occasionally report for work in offices throughout the Puget Sound region.
Administrative Assistant: This opportunity will be for part-time work, with potential for future full-time work. Previous experience providing administrative assistance in a professional services or similar setting is desirable. Typical tasks include timesheet and expense processing, developing progress reports for projects, invoice preparation, business travel planning, inventory management, and account management for business software and subscriptions. Additional work may include support in development of marketing materials. The ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. The candidate should be able to work tactfully with co-workers, clients, agencies, and other consultants. Much of this work may be performed remotely; however, the employee should be able to run errands and report for work in the Seattle area on a frequent basis.
