I-405 Permitting and Mitigation Management Services

— WSDOT (2016-2017) —

This project includes managing permitting and mitigation services for the I-405 Renton to Bellevue Project and I-405 I-90 to NE 6th Street Project. These projects impact streams and wetlands along the I-405 corridor. The projects will provide wetland mitigation at a mix of mitigation banks, advanced mitigation sites, and potentially some new mitigation sites. The projects will also provide fish passage improvements to several named and un-named stream crossings under I-405 in Renton and Bellevue.


Shoreline Boundary Evaluation and Permitting

— City of Tukwila (2015- 2016) —

Clearway Environmental provided a shoreline boundary evaluation and permitting services to the City of Tukwila in support of their Sewer Force Main Relocation Project. Delineated ordinary high water mark of the Green River, checked for associated wetlands, provided shoreline buffer requirements, and provided a summary of permitting requirements for the project, including a shoreline exemption.


Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Program

— WSDOT (2009-2017) —

Clearway Environmental worked with the program office to develop a permitting strategy addressing local, state, and federal permits. Obtained all permits for the following: Automated Gates Project, Atlantic Street Fiber Optic Project, Holgate to King Street Stage 3 Project, North Access Project, South Access Project, Viaduct Demolition Project, miscellaneous geotechnical investigations, and nighttime construction operations.
