Culvert Inventory and Assessment for Fish Passage

— Lower Nehalem Watershed Council (2015-2016) —

This project included culvert inventory, assessment, and fish passage prioritization services for over 500 road stream crossings within the watershed. Clearway Environmental was the prime and completed all culvert evaluations following FHWA’s Culvert Assessment Guide. Deliverables included FHWA crossing assessment forms, photos, GPS locations, ArcGIS mapping, prioritization scores for fish passage projects, and a report documenting fish passage improvement opportunities.


Eelgrass and Beach Nourishment Evaluation

— City of Bainbridge Island (2014-2016) —

Clearway Environmental provided eelgrass monitoring services to the City of Bainbridge Island in support of their Rockaway Beach Slope Stabilization Project. Work included delineating eelgrass boundaries, providing a site and habitat evaluation, and taking beach and snorkel eelgrass shoot counts in over 85 locations.
